Introduction

Hello, welcome to Christian Book Notes, a website for short, but discerning book reviews written from an Evangelical perspective. My name is Terry Delaney. I am an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a seminary student, and a husband and father. I love reading and discussing books. More importantly, I love to tell others about quality Christian books that will benefit them in their walk with Christ. This website is dedicated to helping you discover those quality Christian books. Unless otherwise noted, the items being reviewed were provided at no cost to the reviewer.

What will you find here at Christian Book Notes?

Christian Book Notes was started back in 2008 through a couple of other websites. It was not until April 2009 that Christian Book Notes, this particular website, was established. Since its inception, Christian Book Notes has sought to bring to light little known Christian books and authors so that others may learn about them. While there are major publishers and authors that filter through the website, the majority of the reviews are for titles and authors not published by the major companies. There are quite a few self-published titles as well.

For this reason, you will rarely find a negative review. That is not to say the reviews are not always critical. What it is to say is that Christian Book Notes is here to help.

Please check back often as this website is updated about four times a week or you can subscribe to the RSS Feed or E-mail Newsletter (your email will remain private). This is a great way to keep up with the most recent book reviews, deals that are offered by other publishers. You can also become a fan of Christian Book Notes on Facebook.
